Supporting Sacramento Youth
Sacramento, CA. – Sacramento Kings Head Coach Dave Joerger will host special guests from Big Brothers, Big Sisters and the Nehemian Foundation tonight at Golden 1 Center against the Memphis Grizzlies.
Rhonda Stanley-Brooks, Executive Director of the Nehemian Foundation and participants from her leadership program will enjoy tonight’s game from behind the Kings bench as guests of coach Joerger and the Dave Joerger Foundation. Stanley-Brooks, the former President and CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters Sacramento will also be recognized positive influence in the community as part of the Kings Women’s Appreciation Month.
In collaboration with the Kings Foundation and T4 South Sac, tonight’s game continues coach Joerger’s mission to improve the lives of young people by providing experiences focused around the power of sport—from tennis and basketball camps to NBA interactions.
“I want to say thank you to the fans and the community for welcoming Kara and I and our family here to Sacramento, and for their support this season,” said Joerger. “We’re privileged to be part of this community and honored to assist the Kings Foundation by recognizing the tremendous impact that Big Brothers Big Sisters and the Nehemiah Foundation have in our region.”
