Foundation Purchases Tickets For Fans
Memphis, Tenn. – Memphis Grizzlies Head Coach Dave Joerger and his wife, Kara, on behalf of the Dave Joerger Foundation<http://www.davejoergerfoundation.org/>, have purchased the remaining tickets to tonight’s game vs. New Orleans as a way to thank Grizz Nation fans for their unwavering support during this especially tough string of injuries sustained by the 2015-16 Grizzlies team.
The tickets will be given away today starting at noon by Coach Joerger and his wife, Kara, in the FedExForum Grand Lobby. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis (limit two tickets per person). Remaining tickets that are not given away by Dave and Kara will be available for pick-up at the FedExForum Box Office throughout the afternoon, while supplies last (tickets are located in the Terrace Level).
“I really just want to say thank you to the fans for their support during this tough stretch,” said Joerger. “This team has been playing with their backs against the wall, grinding their way through each game and Grizz Nation fans have been nothing but supportive of that tenacity. And so for that, from coaches to players and the entire organization, we are all in.”
The Grizzlies will host the New Orleans Pelicans at 7 p.m. in this year’s iteration of “Wrestling Night.” Special appearances will be made by wrestling legends, and the first 3,000 fans will receive a Luchador Mask. To accommodate the expected frenzy around tonight’s giveaway, doors will open at 5 p.m. for the 7 p.m. tip off.
